HOOD CERTIFICATIONS

We perform all required tests and adjustments in order to assure that your Laminar Flow Hood, Biological Safety Cabinet, Glovebox Isolator, Fume Hood, or custom device is meeting the most current applicable standards.  This typically includes velocity testing, HEPA Filter Integrity Testing as well as a number of other secondary tests.

If the unit does not meet the specifications, repairs can be made on most units to rectify the discrepancy.  Air Safe, LLC. performs all repairs necessary.  Most reports are printed on site via laptop; and electronic copies are available if required.

Air Safe, LLC. is a warranty repair company for most all hood manufacturers such as NuAire, Labconco, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Baker Company, Germfree as well as all others.

Relying on our years of experience and seeing both newly constructed as well as existing remodeled areas, we can help guide you away from costly errors and oversights concerning your projects.  Our recommendations are based on your needs and the industry standards you are trying to comply with.

CLEANROOM CERTIFICATIONS

Air Safe, LLC. uses the IEST and ISO standards for Cleanroom Testing.  There are a number of tests available, however the most routine include:  Airflow, HEPA Filter Integrity, Particle Counting, Room Pressurization, and Visual Smoke Testing.  A custom cleanroom report is generated based on the data collected and can be generated as a pdf file or a printed hard copy, then emailed, and or mailed to you.

CLEANROOM CLEANING

We perform initial new construction clean downs as well as routine cleanroom cleaning.  Air Safe utilizes the proper equipment to clean your controlled areas without introducing unwanted contamination.

VIABLE ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING 

Using active air samplers and contact plates, Air Safe can perform your required environmental monitoring in your controlled areas.  We keep historical data so we are able to monitor the trends in the monitoring and notify you of any abnormalities within the monitoring.

TRACER GAS TESTING

We can troubleshoot your air quality issues, whether it is related to your fume hood’s performance (ASHRAE 110) or your facility’s HVAC system.

IAQ TESTING

Air Safe can monitor the air within your facility looking for potentially hazardous VOCs that may be present.  We can test for known compounds as well as sample for unknowns.
